Two 2026 World Premieres

The Phoenix Boy’s Choir, Dr. Herbert Washington, conductor, will sing the world premiere of Allan Bevan’s At the Mid Hour of Night for treble voices and piano in their American Mosaic Concerts in the Phoenix, AZ area on March 21 and 22, 2026. At the Mid Hour of Night was selected for performance by the Grammy award-winning choir from 140 submissions to their 2025 New Works Rising Competition.

Ariose, the outstanding treble-voice choir from Edmonton, Alberta will present the world premiere of Allan Bevan’s “Time’s Best Jewel” a multi-movement work on the theme of love for treble voices, baritone solo, and piano. The forty-voice choir, under the direction of renowned soprano Jolaine Kerley, and with the able assistance of baritone Michael Kurschat, and pianist Megan Crane will present this beautiful new work on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Edmonton.
